I have officially launched registration for the 10 card giveaway. If you would like to register, you can do it here.
I'm excited to have gotten to this point and look forward to sending the winner their 10 card package.
As I mentioned on the registration page, I have two new cards that have yet to be published on my website that will be included in the package. I have designed a few more cards also but I want to wait until after the drawing before including them on my website for purchase.
It's late and I have to get up for work in about 4 hours.
Good luck to everyone who registers. There's a winner out there!!!

Getting Closer
It's getting closer for the details and the rules for the giveaway. I just created a giveaway page on my website. It's not much to see right now, but if you'd like, you can check it out here.
This is my first giveaway and basically I am promoting my products. I need to get it out there and what better way to get things started by putting a smile on a lucky winners face...and also on the faces of those who will be fortunate enough to receive one.
I like to have fun and I like to be spontaneous. I like to be creative. Thus I have many ideas for future giveaways that I hope will be fun and interesting for you.
Yes, I'm trying to draw traffic to my website, yes I want to sell my products, yes I would like to one day be able to quit my regular job and one day wake up, plant my feet on the floor, and be at work. But as I strive towards that goal and even after I reach it, there are winners out there who will receive my products.
That makes me happy. I love smiling and love it even more when others are smiling with me. When I'm designing, that is what I hope to portray in my finished product. I know I won't succeed where EVERYONE will like my stuff across the board, but I'm sure I have products that at least ONE person likes my stuff across the board...that's ok...isn't it? A lot of those ONEs add up.
I'll be adding the final touches on the website in the next day or two and then it begins after that. Details and rules, so stay tuned.

This Was A Good Day
I had the day off from work today and it was a semi lazy/getting things done kind of day. It was good day for me. I feel like I relaxed and I also feel as if I got some things done....I did both.
I'm feeling pretty good right about now....almost ready for work tomorrow.
I watched The Lord Of The Rings trilogy. I started last night and I finished after nine tonight. Between pausing, rewinding and rewinding and pausing yet again and again, I still missed parts. I'll do it again sometime.
I'm putting the finishing touches into the giveaway. The announcement should be coming in the next fews days.
My daughter, Darcel from The Mahogany Way had her big day as a featured blog on SITS The Secret to Success is Support. Aside from not being able to respond to her comments right away, it all went well for her.
It's getting late and I need sleep. Back at it tomorrow...I'll be ready.

SnapIt Screen Capture Review
I was asked to do a review of a product that takes a snap shot of anything you want that is on your screen. The name of the software is called SnapIt Screen Capture. I used the software to grab the image from the website. It's like, way too easy.
I am really amazed how easy it is to use.
Too cool....it only took me a hot second to get a snap shot of this post beginning.
You can get just a portion of what you want as I did in the two pictures above, or you can get everything as I did below.
This is a screen capture of my desktop. Not only can I show off the software's capabilities, but I can also use it to show a flaw as in the below shot.
I'm not sure what it is, but it appeared when I hit the print screen key. You can see the area that was affected during the process. But again, the software is awesome in pointing that out. After the first capture, I went to the folder I chose to save my snap shots. I opened the saved shot, hit the print screen key, boxed the area I wanted with the cursor, release the mouse button, and the capture is sent to the folder. How easy is that!!
The flaw in the full desktop capture may be a problem in some situations, but I give the software a thumbs up. I haven't run into any issues in using the software for what most people would be using it for.
This software is good for bloggers, for presentations, great for putting a collage together, school projects and so much more.
You can get your own copy and do a review from your blog/twitter/facebook forum. Just supply the link to your review and you will receive a code.
You can grab the software here.

I'm already trying to see how this will be helpful in creating more designs for me.

No Fanfare
In case you haven't heard or found out via a link here or there, my website, http://whatruworkinon.com has launched. I decided not to do a big announcement or anything like that because I had given myself a deadline to get the site up and ready for business by the end of September. I did that, but in the process of doing so, I pretty much drained myself. Working a full time job and coming home to work on my "second" job proved to be a tad exhausting.
Right now I have Romance and Birthday cards on the site. I'm still adding to both and including Anniversary, Congratulations, Friendship, and of course, with Christmas coming, I'll be working on those, and more.
I was just so happy to have it ready, I had no energy for a "Grand Opening". I think I will still have a "thing" about my opening, but right now, it's not happening.
I AM going to have a give away... very soon. I have decided to give a lucky winner, no less than five (5) cards. At least two (2) of them will be fresh designs.
Details will be announced on The Mahogany Way. I will link to her site when that happens.
Until then, this will be the last time I mention anything about the give away on this blog until a winner is announced!!
So stay tuned and good luck.
On a footnote, it may not be a bad idea to get email notices from this blog from here on, because I will be making special offers and I'm the kinda guy who likes to have fun and give stuff away....
